34th edition of the Fantasy and Horror Film Week
The witches “invade” San Sebastián in the 34th edition of the Fantasy and Horror Film Week.
The contest, from October 27 to November 3, will have a significant presence of French, Spanish and Japanese films. This week the 34th San Sebastián Fantastic and Horror Film Week begins and will do so on October 27 with Vermin: The Plague, a French production not suitable for those who suffer from arachnophobia. The official feature film section is made up of 23 films, with a significant presence of films from the United States and also a good number of Spanish titles such as When the masters sleep by Santiago Alvarado Ilarri; The wait of Francisco Javier Gutiérrez; The dining room table, by Caye Casas, and The hermitage, by Carlota Pereda, which arrives in San Sebastián after passing through Sitges and before its premiere in commercial theaters. There will be two screenings of this Basque co-production, starring Belén Rueda.
