It is a time when many people pay tribute to loved ones who have passed away, visit cemeteries and keep alive customs handed down from generation to generation.<\/p>\n<p>The origins of All Saints\u2019 Day lie in Christian tradition. Its roots date back to the 4th century, when different Christian communities began commemorating martyrs and other figures revered for their faith together.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond its religious significance, All Saints\u2019 Day offers a moment to remember those who are no longer with us and reflect on the importance of family bonds and collective memory. One of the most deeply rooted customs is enjoying traditional seasonal treats, such as <em>bu\u00f1uelos de viento<\/em> (light, airy fritters) and <em>huesos de santo<\/em> (traditional marzipan sweets).
